“A well-composed book is a magic carpet on which we are wafted to a world that we cannot enter in any other way” – Caroline Gordon

“It is not true we have only one life to love, if we can read, we can live as many lives and as many kinds of lives as we wish.” – S.I. Hayakawa

These days I have immersed myself in a knew novel, “The Forgotten Garden” by Kate Morton. I must say I have found my love for reading again, that was once taken from ed. I truly recommend this book, it gives me a break out of life, and into a new world. Yes, I am aware how cheezy that sounds, but I just had to say it. 🙂

Besides how fantastic my book is, you know what else is on my mind?

FOOD!

And we all know what that means, I’m not eating enough while exercising too much. I know how to stop this, but why can’t i seem to take control of it before I spiral? Ed is telling me to restrict every chance I get. Gaah, I’m not going downhill again, I won’t let it happen!

Had to let that frustration out, I need to responsible for my actions. Thanks for all you bloggers out there for your inspiration, you really motivate me, even though it’s hard to put the thought to action. I’ll keep my recovery updated on here from now on, hopefully to help me stay on track. Okay? … Okay.

Reading is one of my passions as well. It’s so fun to escape into a good book 🙂

  4. Reading is one of my passions too, and Kate Morton is a terrific writer. I’ve just finished The Distant Hours, if you have not read it yet you have something to look forward to 🙂

I’m really proud of you for realizing that you need to fight through some changes to get back on track. It is hard and uncomfortable, but you can do it. You’ve already accomplished so much and showed a lot of strength, life is yours to live my dear.
Don’t ever let anorexia take away your beautiful soul and body.

  5. I’ve recently begun to enjoy reading once again now that the semester is over. It’s such a relaxing time passer and helps with stress tremendously.

and I have every faith that you can stop this sliding in its tracks. Remember that you are worth it and that your life is so much more than just your body, and htat for you to accomplish all the things you want to do (and that you will do!) you have to treat your body kindly!

Your dress is STUNNING! I am so jealous of your prom-dress-shopping… I SO want an excuse to twirl around in a beautiful dress 🙂
